Length
Tidal Trekkers programs last about 1.5 hours (1 hour of programming followed by 30 minutes of free exploration with the chance to ask questions and receive interpretation from staff and volunteers).

Currently offering two fin-tastic programs:
Into the Intertidal We're willing to bet that the Halifax shore is home to more species of animals, plants, and algae than you thought! This program explores the themes of habitat and adaptations to intertidal living. Join us along the Regatta Point Walkway on the Northwest Arm of Halifax for this program. This program is transit-friendly. Exploring Evolution Explore a most beloved beach in a whole new way. Rainbow Haven Beach is the perfect place to learn how our favourite ocean critters evolved to be the fascinating species they are today. |
